Orange is trendy on motorways this year

BECAUSE IT SAVES YOUR LIFE

WE 4 YOU
Stationing on motorway carriageways is very dangerous, and it should be done only in case of extreme emergency. The risk is due to the speed gap between your vehicle (which is stationary) and the vehicles travelling at high speed. This is why motorways include rest areas, parking and emergency bays. Although the Italian territory is rich in mountains and deep valleys, where this kind of safety feature can be barely provided, we dedicate ourselves and our investments in keeping you safe. In return, you are asked to make use of all the means you are offered.
Don't forget to wear your reflective jacket when you're forced to stop your vehicle in a place other than a safe area expressely designed by the Motorway Operators – danger is always clear and present!

When?
Whenever you need to stop and get out of your vehicle.
What?
Check that you have a reflective jacket in your car.
Anybody who gets out of a car must be clearly visible to others in order to guarantee their safety in the first place and then comply with law. Reflective jackets must be worn even when vehicles are stationing on emergency lanes or in rest areas. Reflective jackets must be kept inside the passenger compartment! Do not keep it in the boot, or you will be forced to get out of your car to take it and thus break the law!

Why?
Wearing a reflective jacket is important for your safety as you are sure to be immediately visible, thereby safeguarding road traffic.
